A qualified solicitor, Emer began her career in a traditional law firm, spending seven years in practice before moving in-house to AIB where she became the Head of Data Protection. From there, Emer transitioned into the pharma industry, serving as Global DPO for Irish-listed pharma giant ICON. Most recently, she spent four years as Head of Legal and Company Secretary with scaling tech company NewsWhip.

She leads a team of 12 Data Protection specialists whose purpose is to ensure the requirements of the GDPR are met via the provision of advice and guidance, review and challenge to AIB Group including AIB, EBS, Haven and Goodbody’s.

DPO & Director EMEA Privacy Counsel at Autodesk

Richard is a qualified barrister and is Autodesk’s legal lead for the EMEA privacy compliance domain. He manages customer privacy terms, onward data transfer and supports Autodesk’s  Global Trust Program which includes privacy, trusted AI, and security.  Richard was appointed DPO for Autodesk in April 2024 and works closely with the Trust organisation within Autodesk on data protection, and trusted AI initiatives.

Clara is an Assistant Commissioner/ Senior Regulatory Lawyer in the Legal Unit of the Data Protection Commission. She is a graduate of the University of Oxford and University College Cork and joined the DPC in 2019.
